About Us
The aim of our association is to raise children and young people aged 6-25 as individuals who have a constructive mind, high self-confidence, work discipline, developed leadership qualities and are compatible in group work, empathize, add value to society, are sensitive to the environment, have developed hand skills, love and love sports, respectful, honest, merit.
Our association ensures that our children and young people with disabilities (mentally disabled, hearing impaired, visually impaired, autistic, down syndrome…), whose numbers occupy a large place in society, develop their talents by taking part in activities, socialize and contribute to society.
Our association was established in 2018 in order to enable children and young people to meet with their traditions through culture and education-oriented studies, to support their productivity, to enable, implement and develop civil society activities, to participate in national and international projects, to participate in project partnerships and to support individuals and organizations working in these fields.
The biggest advantage of our association is that its members are experts in their fields, especially in education and nature sports.
Areas of work of our association: Scouting, orienteering, basic mountaineering, first aid, drama, communication, leadership, outdoor games, gastronomy, traditional children’s games, outdoor games, basic sports training, volleyball, swimming, cycling, trekking, skiing, rock climbing, brain games, organic agriculture training for children, philosophy and fun English education for children, coding, arduino, robotic coding, DIY trainings for individuals aged 6-25.
The competence of our members in their fields of expertise is admirable. Each of them has proven themselves in their field.
As an activist association, our association is highly sensitive to social and environmental issues. In this context, it has organized and actively participated in activities such as environmental cleaning, afforestation campaigns, and helping animals in need of care who have been subjected to violence. It has also contributed to activities on children’s and women’s rights.
Our association is ready to support all kinds of projects, studies and activities produced for social, cultural and environmental problems and to cooperate with all national and international organizations.
Metis strives to see the “wisdom” worthy of its name in nature and in the relationships between people.

How many students has MetIs AssocIation reached today?
The Metis Youth and Sports Club association has reached approximately 250 young people between the ages of 14 and 20 in our region so far. In addition, the association has carried out domestic and international activities with approximately 20 trainers and teachers within the association. We continue to cooperate with many associations and organizations from abroad.
How many projects has Metis AssocIatIon carrIed out?
Metis Association has completed 3 multinational projects to date. One on-the-job observation and 5 projects are currently ongoing. It will start two new projects in the coming period.
In how many countrIes has the MetIs AssocIatIon served?
We have established a strong network with institutions in all European Union member states within the scope of Erasmus+.
Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Finland, Finland, North Macedonia, Romania, France, Hungary, Latvia, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Croatia, Serbia, Serbia, Netherlands are the countries we are in partnership with. We are still actively implementing projects with some of them.
Meet The Team
Philosophy teacher. Scouting, mountaineering, rock climbing, cycling, backpacking, international project coordination are the fields he has experienced and still thinks of developing.
English teacher with 18 years of experience in Erasmus+ projects. In the last years he has written and coordinated more than 20 projects.
Philosophy teacher, orienteering coach, educator, scout, cyclist, recently he has been doing outdoor education activities.
Physical education teacher, volleyball coach, swimming, indoor and outdoor sports instructor for children and young people aged 6-18. Athletics, volleyball, skiing, cycling and rock climbing.
20 years of experience as an English teacher and ICT teacher. Experienced in international project coordination. Interested in cycling and camping.
